This is embarrassing in a way, but I am passionate about Sims 2 and the stories the game inspires me to write. Conversely, now the stories inspire my game. I tend to get immersed when I find a new interest but I have never been so engaged with anything else as I am now. I can't wait every day to work on the blog, either writing or playing!

Thank you, Carolyn, for your kind comments regarding the reception and of your appreciation for Vesuvius. It is a lovely home and its beauty speaks for itself. So glad you and Matt could attend the reception. We will see you next year I hope!

Great post--when a lot is happening in your life and you're unable to write; I just know you'll be able to mine that field later for good stories. :D

Enjoyed your post today. I took try to choose to look for the inspiring. For me, some of those inspirations come from gazing out my back door and the flowers blooming, bringing home a beat-up item and finding a special place for it in my home, seeing my son come home from a day of work, tired, but happy, and reading a paper or note written by my daughter as her grasp of language is inspiring. The light from the sun peaking out from behind the clouds at about 8-8:30 last night (it looked like someone turned a light switch on!), hearing the birds sing, home decor books and the list goes on....
